Perline Letha (Warner) Propst, age 83 of Brandywine, WV passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg, VA. Mrs. Propst was born in Riverton, WV on December 7, 1925, the daughter of the late Samuel S. Warner and Sallie Ann Teter Warner. Perline is survived by her husband, Norman Quentin Propst, whom she married on November 9, 1946. She was a 1944 graduate of Circleville High School, a member of Victory Fellowship Church of Harrisonburg, VA, a homemaker and a Poultry Grower for Pilgrim’s Pride.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Propst is survived by: 3 Daughters; Mary Warner and husband Galen, Franklin, WV, Gloria Rigor and husband Gilbert, Okinawa, Japan, Frances Propst and husband Joe Berg, Brandywine, WV; 1 Son, Lincoln Propst, Brandywine, WV; 1 Sister, Gladys Harper, Blue Grass, VA; 1 Brother, March Warner, Annapolis, MD; and 13 Grandchildren, Garth Warner, Wells, Warner, London Propst, Athens Rigor, Paris Rigor, Milano Rigor, Jordan Rigor, Venice Rigor, China Rigor, Paden Berg, Logan Berg, Sierra Berg, and Lindsey Propst. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Harlan Propst; 8 Brothers, Brooks, Dale, Roscoe, Burke, Denver, Keith, John, Golden; and 2 Sisters, Myrtle and Mona.
Friends my call at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. W. L. “Sonny” Henkel. Interment will be in the Pine Crest Cemetery, Franklin, WV. Memorials may be made to the Pendleton County Rescue Squads.
