Cynthia Jane Warner, age 81 of Cherry Grove, WV passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at her residence. Mrs. Warner was born in Circleville, WV on November 23,  1927, the daughter of the late Pinkney Jones and Cora Ann Cook Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil William Warner on April 5, 1995. Cynthia attended Teter Gap Elementary School, was a mother and homemaker, and a member of Circleville Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Warner is survived by: two daughters, Teresa L. Mauzy and husband John, Churchville, VA, Lois Ann Warner, Cherry Grove, WV; four sons, Charles Warner and friend Teresa, Franklin, WV, Allen Warner and wife Karen, Cherry Grove, WV, Frank Warner and friend Brenda, Caldwell, WV, Carl Warner and wife Caron, Circleville, WV; a sister, Mary Wilfong, Roanoke, VA; 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Cynthia was preceded in death by: a son, Danny; nine brothers, John, George, Paul, Pinkney Jr., Hansel, Jacob, Glenn, Hayden Nelson, and Bill Cook.
Family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2009, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Pastor Sam Harper will conduct funeral services on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Circleville Presbyterian Church, Circleville, WV. Interment will be in North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, WV. Memorials may be made to the Circleville Presbyterian Church or North Fork Rescue Squad.
