Though I was not able to be there to grieve with my sister due to such short
notice, my heart goes out to all who knew this wonderful father of mine and are
feeling the pain of his loss. I will cherish every memory I have and hold them
all close to my heart. JR was a man of many talents from his drawings to his
craftsmanship. The man could make what he saw in his mind come to life whether
it be on paper or carved out of wood. I think back to the first fish I caught
with him, to crabbing in Maryland with him in the summer time. Anyone who knew
JR, knew that the man could tell his stories (and he had LOTS of them too). I
remember spending hours just sitting on the front porch with him and listening
to his stories (he would even have some pictures to back them up). As a child,

(being from California, these kinds of storms could be and were very
frightening). I feel very blessed that my husband Greg got the opportunity to
meet this amazing sole and just recently was able to hear him tell me he loved
me one last time. He was the love of my Moms life; may they finally rest in
peace together, for all of eternity.

Uncle Jr..Uncle Jr.. thank you soo much for being a part of my life!! You
taught me soo much!! I enjoyed your woodworks and the sconces you made me. I
still have them on my wall. I loved that you always treated me like a daughter.
You always helped me with my car and my dad too.. Thank you for all the fond
memories on the dam, and taking me out fishing to your favorite spot on the
mountain. Thank you for always having me at your homes in Brandywine, Camp
Springs and Marlboro Meadows too. I felt like I lived more with you guys than my
own house. I had so much fun working with you & Mary at the Car Repo place too.

lucky that you were always a part of my life! I enjoyed your company, just
calling to say hello or asking for advice on life decisions, you were always

Dad, you didn't have to love me or be the Dad you were to me, but you did and
you were. I was around 3 when we meant each other for the first time and as you
would say it, it was love at first sight. All the years growing up you always
made me feel loved even tho I wasn't your real daughter. I'll always remember
the times toghter fishing, going to the beach, boat riding, catching grabs and
