Roy Edward Hartman, age 82 of Circleville, WV passed away on Friday, September 18, 2009 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. Mr. Hartman was born in Cherry Grove, WV, on May 20, 1927, the son of the late Dennie Herman Hartman and Myrtle Annie Mullenax Judy and step son of the late Virgie Hartman Bennett. He was a member of the North Dry Run United Methodist Church on Snowy Mountain Road. He loved hunting, fishing and trapping.
He is survived by: 3 Sisters, Myrtle Yvonne Shriver, Cherry Grove, WV, Ruth Warner, Franklin, WV, Dorothy Lantz, Penn Laird, VA; 2 Brothers, Martin Dale Judy, Knoxville, IL and Delano Hartman, Timberville, VA. In addition to his parents, Mr. Hartman was preceded in death by: 2 Brothers, John Delano Judy, Jennings Hartman; 4 Sisters, Alma Eye, Maxine Campbell, Carrie Judy and Glenna Ruddle.
Family will receive friends on Monday, September 21, 2009 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Elder David Hartman will conduct funeral services on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
