Peachie Edith Thompson, Age 75 of Circleville, WV passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. She was born on August 4, 1934 in Brushy Run, WV, the daughter of the late Amby and Delphia Payne Thompson. Peachie was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Sponaugle on July 12, 1990. She was a homemaker.
Peachie is survived by: 5 Daughters, Betty Lee Mallow and Husband Charles, Arbovale, WV, Gladys Mary Thompson, Circleville, WV, Eva Mae Thompson and Husband David, Bridgewater, VA, Juanita Rae Phares and Husband Paul, Riverton, WV, Janet Lynn Hiner and Husband GW, Circleville, WV; 2 Sons, Theodore Sponaugle, Jr, Circleville, WV, Ricky Lee Sponaugle and Wife Jennifer, Circleville, WV; 2 Brothers, Jerlo Thompson and Wife Helen, Seneca Rocks, WV, Achie Thompson and Wife Gladys, Alpena, WV; 19 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: A son, John Gale; 3 Brothers, Hughie, Dewey, Trumie; 3 Sisters, Ressie Biller, Lillie Elza and Mary Catherine Thompson.
Family will receive friends on Monday, October 26, 2009 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Brother David Miller will conduct funeral services on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the North Fork Memorial Cemetery, Riverton, WV.
