Patricia Ann Riggins, age 56 of Petersburg, WV, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the home of friends and caretakers, Dave and Alma Williams, Petersburg. Born June  4, 1953 in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of Russell F. “Panama” Miller, Westernport, MD, and the late Wannetta Stewart Miller. Patty attended school at Bruce High School, Westernport, and Northern High School, Grantsville, MD. She was a member of the Brake Church of the Brethren, Dorcas. She worked in the breast debone department at Pilgrims Pride, Moorefield, WV for nine years.
In addition to her father, Patty is survived by two daughters: Amy Jo Broadwater of Cresaptown, MD and Jessica Ann Leonard of Myrtle Beach, NC; an aunt, Jeanie Neal of Keyser; one sister, Margaret Steele of Edinburg, VA; two brothers, Russell F. “Tarzan” Miller of Keyser, and Michael “Mike” Miller of Cumberland, MD.
Pastor Craig Howard and Jeanie Neal will conduct services at the Brake Church of the Brethren, Sunday, November 15, 2009 at 2:30 p. m. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p. m. until the time of services. Burial will take place at the Brake Cemetery.
