Ronald Lee “Ronnie” Reel, age 66 of Petersburg, WV, passed away Monday, December 28, 2009 at Grant Memorial Hospital. Born March 9, 1943 in Petersburg, he was the son of  Nora Reel, Petersburg. Ronnie retired from Straub Honda, Wheeling, WV and worked in auto body and painting.
Besides his mother, Ronnie is survived by his fiance, Kathy Marriner, Petersburg. Three daughters: Stacy Vance and husband Cam, Petersburg; Starlene Jividen, Bridgeport, Ohio; Dawn Borosko and husband Raymond, Lorain, Ohio. Two sons: Clifford Reel and wife Terri, Mt. Crawford, Virginia; Wilson Reel and wife Amy, Elkton, Virginia. One sister, Linda Borror, Petersburg. Two brothers: Lee Reel, Petersburg; Wayne Reel, Riverton, WV. Also surviving, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sheila Reel.
Rev. James Ash will conduct services, Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home, Petersburg. Family will receive friends Wednesday, December 30, 2009, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Basagic Funeral Home, Petersburg. Burial will take place at Cherry Hill Cemetery, Upper Tract, WV.
