Daniel “Roger” Hanna, age 66 of Ft. Seybert, WV passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Veteran's Hospital in Martinsburg, WV. Mr. Hanna was born on August  25, 1943 in Canvas (Nicholas County), WV, the son of the late Arbor Hanna and the late Verna McClung Hanna. Roger graduated from Nicholas County High School and formerly worked for the City of Charlotte, NC and Dale Walker Poultry, Ft. Seybert, WV. He was a US Army Veteran for 18 years and served in the Vietnam War. He made his home with his sister, Vergie and her Husband John in Ft. Seybert for the past 14 years.
Mr. Hanna is survived by: 2 Sisters; Vergie H. Cartwright and Husband John, Ft. Seybert, WV and Nancy McCutcheon, Ft. Seybert, WV; .4 Nieces, Renee Hedrick, Franklin, WV, Debbie Hanna, Ft. Seybert, WV, Brenda Jackson, Summersville, WV, and Nancy Lynn Hanna, Richmond, VA. In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by: A son, Robert Lee Hanna; A Brother, Richard “Sonny” Hanna; 2 Sisters, Judy Hanna and Peggy Hanna;
Rev. Mario Claro will officiate a memorial service on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home, Franklin, WV, with military tribute by Pendleton County Honor Guard.
