Mildred Coniglio

 

Mildred K. Coniglio, age 81 of Fairmont, WV passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at her residence in Fairmont. Mrs. Coniglio was born December 3, 1928, Braxton County, WV, the daughter of the late Melinda K. Collins. Mildred's husband, Larry Coniglio Jr., preceded her in death December 15, 2005. Mildred worked at the Owens Illinois Glass Plant, Fairmont, for 19 years. She attended school in Fairmont at Barns Elementary and was a member of the Potomac Valley Baptist Church, Maysville, WV.

Mrs. Coniglio is survived by two daughters; Joretta Slepesky and husband Mike, Louise Amodio and husband Jim, both of Fairmont, one son, Louie Coniglio and wife Charlotte, Wilmington, NC.  She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Mae Smith, three brothers; James, Jr., Edgar and Art Collins, one sister, Virgnia Powell.

Pastor Ted Anderson will officiate funeral services on Friday, February 19, 2010, 11:00 AM at the chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home, Petersburg, WV. Interment will be in the South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens, Petersburg. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the morning service. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care, 1406 Country Club Road, Fairmont, WV 26554.

precious friend to me and I will greatly miss her too. God bless each of you.
