Seems like I was just on this page for grandma Nieman and saw that you all
posted a comment. I am so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. Please know that
your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I still remember all the times we
used to go to his and Joan's house with mom and dad and what a huge WVU fan he
was. I'm sure he and Joan are still cheering for them in heaven.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in Upper Tract, and hold dear the memories of
not only Joe Jr.,Joan and Pete, but also Joe Sr. and Nellie. My thoughts and
prayers are with you Sandy and Darrel. As we get older it seems our lives become
a series of losses to bear. I hold on to the belief that all good people go to
heaven. How they must be celebrating now....
May God's love and strength lift you...

Wow, what can I say... work, school, career, church, family... Joe was part of
it all for me. He always had a smile on in face and a helping hand. I will never
forget him or his family and what they did for me. May the Bodkin family find
peace in the knowledge that he can now spend eternity with his maker (and his
sweetheart). All my love and prayers.
