Alan Joe Puffenbarger , age 62, of Sugar Grove, WV, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at his home. He was born on October 12, 1957, in Paxton, IL, the son of Everett Paul "EP" Puffenbarger of Franklin, WV, and the late Betty Jo (Kiser) Puffenbarger. Alan married Laura Ann (Adams) Puffenbarger, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Puffenbarger was a 1975 graduate of Paxton High School in Illinois and a graduate of Southern Illinois University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Ornamental Horticulture.

In addition to his father, Alan is survived by: a daughter, Haley Puffenbarger of Maple Park, IL; a son, Elijah Puffenbarger of Houna, LA; a sister, Diana Jo Cottrell of Fishers, IN; and a grandson, Elliot.
