Alice Catherine "Cathy" Pritt, age 61 of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV after a long battle of pancreatic cancer.  She was born on May 10, 1958 in Petersburg, WV, the daughter of Mary Joan (Mongold) Kuykendall of Petersburg and the late, Samuel Joseph "Sonny" Kuykendall. On March 25, 2004, Cathy married her husband of 15 years, Donald Lee Pritt, who survives in Petersburg.

Mrs. Pritt graduated from Moorefield High in 1978. She was an avid crafter, bingo player and enjoyed watching cooking shows. Cathy was a loving mother, grandmother, and homemaker.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pritt is survived by: 2 daughters, Chasity McKenzie and husband, David, of Keyser, WV and Stephanie Barger and husband, James, of Petersburg; 1 sister, Marlene Evans and husband, Matt, of Petersburg; 5 grandchildren, Whitney (Jake) Simon, Maiah Hartman, Autumn Harrison, Luke (Ashton) McKenzie and Ryan Harrison; 2 great-grandsons; 1 niece and 3 nephews.

Mrs. Pritt's family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 5-7 PM in the Chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.  Funeral services will follow at 7 PM in the funeral home Chapel with Pastor Bradley Thorne officiating.  Per Mrs.Pritt's request her body will be cremated.
