Alice Gae Ratliff , age 76, of Riverton, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born on March 20, 1942 in Richmond, IN, the daughter of the late Ralph and Rhea Gae (Kimble) Harper. On December 22, 1961, Alice married Silas Donald Ratliff, who preceded her in death on June 6, 2014.

Ms. Ratliff was a 1960 graduate of Circleville High School and a member of the North Fork Baptist Church, where she served as Treasurer. Following her graduation from high school, she worked for the FBI in the Finger Print Division in Washington, DC, at Head Start, for Dr. John Harman, and was Manager of Family Dollar in Franklin. She worked as a volunteer during the 1985 flood recovery and for the Pendleton County Rescue Squad.

Ms. Ratliff is survived by: a daughter, Sheri Lynn Ratliff of Odenton, MD; 3 sons, Brian Keith Ratliff and wife Jeanette of Riverton, Vernon Stacy Ratliff of Singers Glen, VA, Douglas Ray Ratliff of Riverton; a sister, Mamie Marie Smith and husband Frederick Jr., of Beltsville, MD; 3 brothers, Kenneth Harper and wife Loretta of Circleville, Orville Harper and wife Barbara of Riverton, Elwood Harper and wife Dora of Riverton; and 2 grandchildren, Benjamin Stonie and Brittany Starr Ratliff.

Ms. Ratliff's family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Sam Harper officiating. Interment will be in North Fork Memorial Cemetery in Riverton.
