Allen Hugh Thompson , age 77, of Simoda, formerly of Riverton, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020, at Develin Manor in Cumberland, MD. He was born on November 12, 1943, in Riverton, WV, the son of the late Irene (Thompson) Adkison.

Mr. Thompson was a graduate of Circleville High School, and retired after 40 years, as a Truck Driver for Hinkle Trucking.

Mr. Thompson is survived by: 2 sons, David Huffman and Michael Huffman (Hannah), all of Riverton, WV; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Huffman; and a special friend, Larry House of Cumberland, MD. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Lee Thompson.

Mr. Thompson's family will receive friends on Friday, November 27, 2020, 11 AM until 1 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. A graveside service will follow on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Thompson Family Cemetery on Lower Timber Ridge, Riverton, WV, with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating.
