Obituary

Andrew Lee Kile, age 76, of Cabins, WV, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Grant Rehabilitation and Care Center in Petersburg, WV. He was born on March 20, 1943 in Cumberland, MD, the son of the late Raymond Burley Kile and Mary Matilida (Layman) Kile. On April 24, 1975 he married his wife of 44 years, Brenda (Miller) Kile, who resides in Cabins.

Mr. Kile graduated from Petersburg High School and formerly attended the Corners United Methodist Church in Cabins.  Mr. Kile was a Veteran of the United States Navy.  Andrew worked for Dettinburn Trucking before he became a Deliveryman for 25 years with Car Quest in Petersburg. He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Kile is survived by: 3 daughters, Angela Engle and husband, Brian, of Maysville, WV, Mary Jowers and husband, Ralph, of Fitzgerald, GA and Teresa Watson and husband, Chris, of Apopka, FL; 1 son, Larry Kile of Pensacola, FL; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 daughter, Amanda Kile and 1 brother, Raymond N. Kile.

Mr. Kile's family will receive friends on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.  Funeral services will be on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Gary Crislip officiating. Interment will be at the Kile Family Cemetery in Cabins, WV with military graveside honors by the Potomac Highlands VFW Post #6454.
