Andrew Jacob Kisamore, age 45, of Lahmansville, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 31, 2026. He was born on July 9, 1981, in Winchester, VA, the son of Harold “Butch” Kisamore of Medley, WV and the late Edith Louise Pruitt.

Mr. Kisamore was a 1999 graduate of Petersburg High School and began working for the United States Postal Service at Seneca Rocks, Cabins, and Maysville, WV. Most recently, you would find him on his route on Jordan Run, delivering more than just mail. You would find him delivering kindness, dedication, and heart to every doorstep on his way. Whether he was checking in on the elderly, those who recently had surgery, or passing out a sucker to the children, Andrew showed how much he cared for his community and always with a smile on his face. Andrew loved his family deeply, especially his nieces and nephews, always willing to help in need and never met a stranger. In his spare time, he enjoyed landscaping and collecting rocks. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his father, Andrew is survived by: his companion, Patrick Halterman; a daughter, Lexi Kisamore of Lahmansville, WV; a sister, Amy Kisamore (Brandon Watts) of Medley, WV; a brother, Adam Kisamore (Teresa) of Lahmansville, WV; a granddaughter, Hailey Borror; numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, nieces and nephews.

Andrew’s family will receive friends on Friday, September 4, 2026, 5-7 PM, at the Basagic Funeral Home, Petersburg, WV. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 5 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Daryl Dunsmore officiating. Interment will be in the Weatherholtz Cemetery, Lahmansville, WV.
