Angela Marie (Secrist) Champ , age 57, of Cabins, WV, departed this world, surrounded by her family on October 18, 2024, at UPMC Western Maryland.  She was born on May 4, 1967, in Garrett County, Maryland.  She was the daughter of the late Roger Lee Secrist and Frances Darlene (Green) Secrist.

Angela was a 1985 graduate of Petersburg High School.  She previously worked at Hanover, Hesters, and was a caregiver for many years for the Potomac Highlands Guild, Burlington Children's Home, and ResCare.    She loved being with family, vacationing at the beach, and spending time with her dogs, Skye, Blue, Brody, and Pongo.  Her love for her family, friends, and pets, and the strength she displayed over many years of her illness, will forever reflect on those who survive her.

Angela is survived by: her beloved husband of 31 years, John (Bill) William Champ, 3 daughters, Misti Carpenter (Larry) of Petersburg, WV; Tiffany Champ of Franklin, WV; Lisa Champ (Dana Miller) of Lost River, WV; a son, Wes Champ of Franklin, WV; 9 grandchildren, Gracie and Connar Carpenter; Jared and Lucas Bland, Caden, Mahalah, and Braxton Mongold; Marley and Owen Champ; 2 sisters, Robin Barr (David Flinn) of Dorcas, WV; Brenda Frey (Bob) of Moorefield, WV; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ashley Bland, who she loved with all her heart and painfully grieved for.
