Anna Elizabeth "Libby" Hoover, age 83, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Augusta Health Center in Fishersville, VA. She was born on November 9, 1941, in Brandywine, WV, the daughter of the late Emery Luther and Flodie (Miller) Nesselrodt. On September 13, 1958, Libby married the love of her life, Harlan Woodrow "Woody", who survives in Brandywine.

Libby attended Franklin High School and was a member of the Brandywine Baptist Church. She had worked for 33 years at Hanover Shoe Company in the hand sewing and cutting department. Libby took pride in her family and loved spending time with them.

In addition to her husband, Libby leaves behind to cherish her memory: 2 daughters, Karen Simon (Larry) of Franklin, WV, Rhonda Stump of Brandywine, WV; 2 sisters, Lillian Nesselrodt of Brandywine, WV, Arlene Dahmer of Newark, DE; 2 granddaughters, Sheena Simon and Tasha Marshall; and 6 great-grandchildren, Croix, Kamron, Blake, Ella, Delaney, and Haley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Tyson, Orvin and Bennie Nesselrodt.

Libby's family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, 12-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Tim Weaver officiating. Interment will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Brandywine.
