Annette (Shreve) Kimble, age 82 of Upper Tract, WV passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on April 7, 1936 in Smoke Hole, WV, the daughter of the late Ona Curtis Shreve and Hazel (Kimble) Shreve. On July 11, 2018, Mrs. Kimble was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Alvin Vincent Kimble.

Mrs. Kimble attended school in Smoke Hole and was a Christian by faith. After working for many years at Hanover Shoe Factory in Franklin, WV, Annette quit her job to travel with her beloved husband, Alvin, on his pipe line job. She took pride in gardening and canning and enjoyed planting flowers. Her greatest treasure was her husband and son and she loved cooking for her family and friends.

Mrs. Kimble is survived by: a son, Bruce Kimble and wife, Susan, of Petersburg, WV; a sister, Yvonne Hall of Petersburg; 2 granddaughters, Beth and husband, Todd Heare of Petersburg and Amy and husband, Derrick, White of Petersburg and 5 great-grandchildren, Evan Kimble, Grayson Kimble, Myla Heare, Rowan Heare and Cole White.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Kimble is preceded in death by: a twin sister, Jannette Mongold and a brother, Walter Shreve.

Mrs. Kimble's family will receive friends on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 2 PM in the Chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Cosner officiating. Interment will be at the Kline Cemetery in Kline, WV.
