Arlene Barbara Hayes , age 79, of Fairmont, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Guardian Elder Care of Fairmont. She was born on December 10, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Everett A. and Josephine (Lewis) Haviland.

Arlene attended Baltimore City Schools and was a Catholic by faith.

Arlene leaves behind to cherish her memory: a son, Lee Haviland of Baltimore, MD; a sister, Lynne Gebhardt of Westminster, MD; a sister-in-law, Lera Volz of Riverton, WV; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: an infant son; a brother, Michael; and a sister, Carol Gernhart.
