Arrawanna Beatrice Maze , age 91, of Franklin, WV, passed away on December 8, 2019 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born on August 24, 1928, in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter of the late Harvey and Thelma (Whitecotton) Dodd. Beatrice was preceded in death by two husbands, George Bland and Ray Maze, and is survived by her current husband, Reid Murphy of Franklin, WV.

Mrs. Maze was a graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School in Clarksburg, WV, attended United Methodist Church in Clarksburg, WV, and was a member of Franklin Presbyterian Church in Franklin, WV. She had worked as a Sales Representative at Benny's Boot and Aaron Shoes.  Arrawanna enjoyed square dancing and antiquing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by: 2 sons, Roger Bland and wife Kathi of Clearwater, FL, Brian Bland of Chesapeake, VA; and 5 grandchildren. In addition to her parents and spouses, she was preceded in death by: a daughter, Janice Bland; a brother, Ralph Dodd; and 3 sisters, Carolyn Sue, Shelby, and Sara.

In honoring Arrawanna's wishes, her body has been cremated. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Rob Borror officiating.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com or on Facebook at Basagic Funeral Home.
