Arveda Frances Nesselrodt, age 88, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019, at Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 2, 1930, the daughter of the late Robert Clifton (Arbaugh) and Margie Bell (Warner) Arbogast of Cherry Grove, WV. Arveda married Tyson Nesselrodt, who preceded her in death on July 14, 2017.

Mrs. Nesselrodt was previously employed by Hanover Shoe Company, Franklin Garment Company, and Committee on Aging in Franklin. She was a good cook and baker, and would give you the shirt off of her back if needed.

Mrs. Nesselrodt is survived by: 2 daughters, Evelyn Lambert (Martin) of Cherry Grove, WV, Alice Kile of Hinton, VA; 3 sons, Jerry Wimer (Nancy) of Harrionsburg, VA, Frank Wimer (Wanda) of Franklin, WV, and Marvin "Jr." Wimer (Marleta) of Franklin, WV; 3 sisters, Ideva Martin, Norma Thomas, and Thelma Foley, all of Harrisonburg, VA; half sister, Sudie Selmon; 3 half brothers, David Arbaugh of Cherry Grove, WV, Luther Arbaugh of Broadway, VA, Clifton Arbaugh, of Harrisonburg, VA; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: 2 sisters, Margie and Alfleda; a brother, Mayo Arbaugh; a half brother, Robert; and 4 half sisters, Nola, Mae, Linnie, and Robbie.

Mrs. Nesselrodt's family will receive friends on Thursday, July 4, 2019, 1-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating. Interment will be in Pine Crest Memorial Gardens in Franklin, WV.
