Arvella M. "Sis" Pitsenbarger , age 88, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV. She was born on June 14, 1932, in Franklin, WV, the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Ida Mae (Propst) Lambert. On October 28, 1961, Arvella married Ralph Pitsenbarger, who preceded her in death on May 20, 2013.

Mrs. Pitsenbarger attended Franklin High School and was a Presbyterian by Faith. She had worked for 21 years at Kindt Collins Factory in Cleveland, OH.

Mrs. Pitsenbarger is survived by: 2 daughters, Shelia Rexrode of Franklin, WV, Shelly Kate Monssen of Harrisonburg, VA; 2 sons, Dennis Lambert (Cricket) of Franklin, WV, Ralph Pitsenbarger, Jr. of Franklin, WV; 2 sisters, Phyllis Lambert of Franklin, WV, Lola "Kack" Nelson of Lafayette, IN; 2 brothers, William "Butch" Lambert (Shirley) of Franklin, WV, Billy Lambert (Myrtle) of Verona, VA; 9 grandchildren, James, Josh, Jessica, Steven, Timmy, Charles, Brandon, Damien, Felicia; and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a great-grandson, Charles "Bubby" Pitsenbarger; 3 brothers, Charles, Paul and Raymond; and 3 sisters, Sally Wright, Delphia Bosserman, and Alice Mauzy.

Mrs. Pitsenbarger's family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, 5-7 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Franklin, WV.
