Betty Jane Wezik, age 92, of Sugar Grove, WV, formerly of Crownsville, MD, passed away at her home, on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. She was born on January 20, 1932, in War, WV, the daughter of the late Tivis and Bessie Mae (Davidson) Ward. Betty married Raymond S. Wezik, who preceded her in death on March 10, 1969.

Betty attended school in War, WV and was a Protestant by faith. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.

Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory: a daughter, Sheila Brown (Stewart) of Severna Park, MD; a son, Raymond Wezik (Starla) of Sugar Grove, WV; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by: 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
