Beulah Nesselrodt Baer, age 95, wife of the late James Percy Baer, whom she married on January 12, 1946, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Baer was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Grove Mennonite Church. Spending time cooking for her family brought her much pleasure and Mrs. Baer will be remembered for her love of family, friends, and caring nature.

Born on October 14, 1922, in Ft. Seybert, WV, and was the daughter of the late John Floyd Nesselrodt and Nannie B. Myers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 infant brothers and 2 sisters, Thelma Vandevander and Shirley Whetzel. She is survived by: 2 daughters, Nancy Wimer and husband Jerry, Helen Kuykendall and husband Leon; a son, David Baer and his late wife Carolyn; her loving grandchildren, Terry Kuykendall, Kevin Wimer, Jason Kuykendall, and Danny Kuykendall, Jeff Marks; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Baer's family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, Noon until 2:00 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Hartzler officiating. Interment will be in the Nesselrodt Family Cemetery in Ft. Seybert.
