Beverly June Phares, age 79, of Circleville, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV. She was born on June 12, 1939, in Franklin, WV, the daughter of the late Hansel and Wilma (Raines) Huffman. On October 21, 1955, Beverly married James H. Phares, who preceded her in death on July 3, 2015.

Beverly had attended Pendleton County Schools and was a member of the North Fork Apostolic Church. She was a loving mother/grandmother, homemaker and farmer.

Ms. Phares is survived by: a daughter, Marianne M. Richardson (David) of Winfield, WV; 4 sons, James Allen Phares (Denise) of Manassas, VA, Thomas Lee Phares (Cheryl) of Seneca Rocks, WV, Benjamin Loren Phares (Sherri) of Broad Run, VA, Col. Matthew H. Phares (Christy) of Beaufort, SC; 3 brothers, Ted Huffman of Canton, OH, Willard Huffman (Jane) of Franklin, Berlie Jo Huffman of Franklin; 16 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Joy Ann Judy; and an infant brother.

Ms. Phares' family will receive friends on Saturday, February 16, 2019, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be on Sunday, February 17, 2019 in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. W. Gary Zarr officiating.
