Bonnie Judy Murphy , age 93, of Riverton, WV, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. She was born on October 5, 1925, the daughter of the late Grace Judy Wimer. On April 25, 1945, Bonnie married her husband of 57 years, Frazer William Murphy, who preceded her in death on February 28, 2002.

Bonnie attended Circleville High School, was a member of the Circleville Presbyterian Church, a member of the Spruce Knob CEOS for 56 years, and had served as a Pendleton County Belle. She had worked at Glen L. Martin Aeronautics in Baltimore, MD, during WWII, and she retired from the Franklin Garment Company, after 29 years of employment.

Mrs. Murphy is survived by: a son, Dale (Juanita) Murphy of Franklin; 2 daughters, Juanita Goldizen (Ted) of Maysville, WV, Lenora "Skip" Mallow (Roger) of Upper Tract, WV (with whom Bonnie lived for the last 8 months) ; 8 grandchildren, Della (Kurt) Wright of Chantilly, VA, Robert Murphy (Candy) of Bluemont, VA, Jennifer (Patrick) Kelly of Niceville, FL, Chad (Hilary) Goldizen of Acworth, GA, Barry (Cassie) Goldizen of Montrose, WV, Ryan (Amber) Goldizen of Flemington, WV, Judy (Warren) Hedrick of Franklin, WV, Kami (Trey) Keyser of Upper Tract, WV; 16 great-grandchildren, Robyn, Clayton, and Amy Murphy, Alana (Anthony) Fields, Evan and Hannah Kelly, Taylor Wright, Brookeleigh, Luke, and Shaylyn Golidizen, Conor, Cole, and Cason Goldizen, Katie and Kallie Keyser, and Gracie Hedrick; 2 great-great-grandchildren, twins, Jackson and Clayton Fields; and her cat and great companion, "Honeybun". In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: her grandparents, Kenny and Almeda Judy; a great-great-granddaughter, Vivien Grace Murphy; and 2 half brothers, Carl Raines and Bobby Wimer.

Mrs. Murphy's family will receive friends on Saturday, March 30, 2019, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Circleville Presbyterian Church in Circleville, with Pastor Fletcher Hutcheson, Jr. officiating.
