Brenda Lynne (Armentrout) Haas, age 73, of Harrisonburg, VA, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab Center in Harrisonburg, VA. She was born on January 9, 1952, in Harrisonburg, the daughter of the late Roy Dayton and Olive Ruth (Cooper) Armentrout.

Brenda was a 1969 graduate of Wheaton High School and attended the National School of Business. She was a member of the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church in Harrisonburg and she was a member of the Franklin Eastern Star #138. Brenda had worked several jobs during her career, including at Bridgewater College, JC Penney and Sears. She retired from the Daily News Record.

Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memory: many cousins from both sides of her family and her son-in-law, Craig Orndorff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a daughter, Olivia Irene Orndorff; and her furry friend whom she missed dearly, "Lady Bug".

Brenda's family will receive friends on Friday, April 18, 2025, 10-11 AM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Amy Pannell officiating and an Order of the Eastern Star service conducted by OES #138.
