Calvin Eugene Hott , age 72, of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020, at his home. He was born on May 9, 1948, in Petersburg, WV the son of the late Cecil Hott and Ruth (Wimer) Hott.

Mr. Hott attended school in Romney, WV and was a Christian in faith. Calvin had previously worked for Dillsworth-Wilbert Vault Co. in Romney as well as various asphalt contractors in the area.

Mr. Hott is survived by: 1 daughter, Megan Phillips of Petersburg; 2 stepdaughters,  Melinda Wheeler of Romney, Melissa Hott of Petersburg; 1 stepson, Neil Heavner of Burlington, WV; 2 sisters, Annabell Hume (Andy) of Askov, MN and Cindy Bowen of Romney; 2 brothers, Tommy Hott and Donnie Hott (Kim) both of Winchester, WV; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson and 3 step grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hott is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Eddie Hott and Kenneth Hott.

Friends may visit 1 hour prior to services from 5-6 PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 with a memorial service following at 6PM in the Chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.
