Carolyn Ann Bennett, age 54, of Petersburg, WV, passed away on November, 21, 2021, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg. She was born on May 22, 1967, the daughter of William Blake of Slaty Fork, WV and Betty (Hickman) Beck of Verona, VA. She was married to Mark Bennett who survives in Petersburg, WV.

Ms. Bennett was a graduate of Poca High School and was a Baptist by faith. She was a loving mother and homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also loved watching TV crime shows and reading.

Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memories: a daughter, Sarah (Bennett) Lofton (Josh) of Petersburg, WV; a son, Joshua Bennett of Petersburg, WV; 2 sisters, Nancy Propst of Mitchelltown, VA, Donna Beck of Verona, VA; 2 brothers, Billy Blake of Jesup, GA, David Blake of Verona, VA; a special sister-in-law and friend, Amber Neal of Petersburg, WV; 4 grandchildren, Jessie Ann Kimble, Mary Mae Kimble, Jonathan Clyde Bennett, Judson Daniel Rohrbaugh; 2 step grandchildren, Bethany Marie Layne Lofton and Joshua Richard Layne Lofton.

In honoring Carolyn's wishes, her body will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
