Cathleen Marie Durr, age 56, of Petersburg, WV entered into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 22, 2024 following an extended illness.  She was born on April 27, 1968, the daughter of the late John Patrick and Joanne Elizabeth (Thomas) Ryan.

Ms. Durr graduated from Lake Braddock High School in Burke, VA and loved her church family at Cabins Assembly of God. Cathy had most recently worked at the Family Crisis Center in Petersburg before her illness but will also be remembered for her work at Petersburg High School as an aide and custodian as well as working at the Harman's Cabins.  She enjoyed every opportunity to meet with her church, to cook for family and friends, and cheer on her favorite team, the Steelers.  Cathy deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren.   Her legacy of love will live on in them.

Cathleen leaves behind to cherish her memories: 3 daughters, Kayla Strawderman (Curtis) of Purgitsville, WV; Haley Shawn Hayes (Ethan) of Morgantown, WV; Dusty Belldina (Tammy) of Masontown, WV; a son, Joshua Floyd Inskeep of WV; a brother, Tim Ryan of Springfield, VA; 4 grandchildren, Sawyer Lane and Skylyn Marie Strawderman; Harley Valentine (Brycen); and Tony Wiles (Alauna).  She also leaves behind her fur babies, Blue and Bailey.

Cathy's family will receive friends on Sunday, September 1, 2024, 1-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home, Petersburg, WV.
