Christopher Scott Ritchey , age 40, of High View, WV passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his residence after a short battle with cancer. He was born on July 11, 1980 in Alexandria, VA, the son of the late Daniel Dean Ritchey and Dianna Mae (Stump) Ritchey.

Mr. Ritchey was a 1998 graduate from T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, VA and was a Christian by faith. As a child, he enjoyed learning karate with his father. Christopher worked as an Assistant Manager at CVS Pharmacy in Winchester, VA up until his illness.

Mr. Ritchey is survived by: 1 Aunt, Vicky Harper and husband, Thomas, of Riverton, WV; 2 Uncles, Barry Stump and wife, Diane, of High View, WV and Gary Stump and wife, Connie, of Leesburg, VA and several cousins.

Mr. Ritchey's family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Basagic Funeral Home with Pastor Jay Linaburg officiating. Interment will be in South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens in Petersburg, WV.
