Cleona Virginia Marie Dolly, age 83 of Timberville, VA, formerly of Burlington, WV,  passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at her residence.  She was born on April 20, 1936, in Criders, VA, the daughter of the late Jason Marvin Dove and Lucy Virginia (Whetzel) Dove. On September 6, 1957 she married Walter Eston Dolly, who preceded her in death on November 9, 1997.

Mrs. Dolly attended Eastern Mennonite High School in Harrisonburg, VA. She is a member of the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Broadway, VA and a former member of the North Fork Mennonite Church in Petersburg, WV.  Cleona was a loving mother and homemaker.

Mrs. Dolly is survived by: 3 sons, Dale Dolly and wife, Susie, of Burlington, WV, Daniel Dolly of Burlington and Dane Dolly and wife, Martha, of Timberville, VA; 3 sisters, Treva Dove of Timberville, Va, Genevieve Singh and husband, Harcharn, of Kissimmee, FL and Pat Yankee and husband, Richard, of Bergton, VA and 1 foster sister, Marcie Payne and husband, Stacy, of Harrisonburg, VA.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Dolly is preceded in death by: 1 brother, Dick Dove and 2 sisters, Annabelle Dove and Dorothy Ritchie.

Mrs. Dolly's family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 from 6-8 PM at the North Fork Mennonite Church in Petersburg, WV.  Funeral services will be on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the North Fork Mennonite Church in Petersburg with Pastors John Swartz, Larry Showalter, and Jeff Messenger officiating.
