Curtis Benjamin Walker, age 54, of Kingwood, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 as the result of a motorcycle accident.  He was born on March 31, 1970 in Morgantown, WV, the son of Richard Gerald Walker of Daybrook, WV and Neila Kisner (Danny) of Morgantown, WV.  On November 8, 2016, he married his loving wife, Lisa (Greaser) Walker who survives in Kingwood.

Mr. Walker was a 1988 graduate of Clay Battel High School and began his career in the United States Air Force.  He served in Iraq in 2010 and was in the 201st Airlift Squadron in the D.C. Air National Guard until retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. He was a member of the VFW Post # 826 Kingwood, WV.  Curtis found peace and enjoyment in life while experiencing all the outdoors had to offer, whether he was fishing, kayaking, riding his Harley, or just tinkering around the garage.   He leaves behind a legacy of service and love for his family and his country.

In addition to his wife and parents, Curtis leaves behind to cherish his memory: 2 daughters, Alison Clemens (Matt) of Arbutus, MD; Ashli Pritt (Chad Howdershelt) of Fairmont, WV; 2 sisters, Kristina VanKirk (Lee) of Worthington, WV; Donna Gray (Will) of Fort Ashby, WV; a brother, Nathan Walker of Terra Alta, WV; lifelong friend and military brother, Rob Burke of Bealeton, VA; and the best canine companions, Martial and Finn.

The Walker family will have a graveside service at the Grafton Nation Cemetery on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM.  Military honors will be bestowed by the US Air Force and the Kingwood VFW Post # 826.  Memorials may be made to the family c/o Lisa Walker 587 Dinkenberger Rd.
