Daniel Philip Pope , age 64, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at his home. He was born on July 19, 1955, in Harrisonburg, VA, the son of the late Bobbie Lee and Iris Lee (Mitchell) Pope. Daniel was previously married Susan (Cook) Randal of Grottoes, VA and was preceded in death by his second wife, Diane (Nesselrodt) Pope.

Mr. Pope attended Pendleton County Schools, including Brandywine and Franklin, and Turner Ashby in Dayton, VA. He enjoyed working on cars.

Mr. Pope is survived by: a daughter, Katie Beth Beatty (Keith) of Stuarts Draft, VA; a sister, Deborah Pope Horst (Enos) of Brandywine, WV; and twin granddaughters. In addition to his parents and second wife, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Richard Pope and Bobby Pope.
