David Jeremy Turner, age 52, of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at his home. He was born on August 17, 1973 in Petersburg, WV, the son of the late Randall Turner and Linda (Barr) Turner of Petersburg, WV.

Mr. Turner attended school in Petersburg and was a Methodist in faith. David was an auto mechanic and owner/operator of the Turner’s Garage in Petersburg. He was an avid hunter and an excellent pool player. David also enjoyed having friends over at the shop to relax and have a good time.

In addition to his loving mother, David is survived by: the mother of his children, Pandora Barr of Petersburg, WV; a son, Kahner Turner of Petersburg, WV; 2 brothers, Rodney Turner (Melinda) of Petersburg, WV; Jeff turner of Petersburg, WV; several nieces and nephews, Chelsie Turner (Lauren); Ashley Sherman (Ross); Colton Turner (Brittney); and Blake Turner (Audrey). He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gabriella Turner.

In honoring David’s wishes, his body has been cremated. David’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 15,2026, 5-6 PM in the Basagic Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will follow at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Eddie Mullenax officiating. A private inurnment will be held at the Turner Family Cemetery at a later date.
