Dawn Rose (Cook) Turner , age 62, of Hedgesville, WV, passed away on October 2, 2024, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on March 15, 1962, in Washingnton, DC, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Phyllis (Bowers) Cook. Dawn married Glendon "Glen" Turner Jr., who survives in Hedgesville.

Dawn was a 1980 graduate of Fairmont High School in Landover, MD and was a Christian by faith. She had worked for NASA Sattelite Communication and Schooling.

In addition to her husband, Dawn leaves behind to cherish her memory: her children, Krista A. Turner of Crownsville, MD, Glendon W. Turner III of Davidsonville, MD, David J. Levin of new Carrolton, MD, Justin R. Levin of North Beach, MD, Joshua A. Turner, North Las Vegas, NV, Zachary J. Turner of Hedgesville, WV; a sister, Robin Cook-Warner of Blue Grass, VA; a brother, Glen A. Cook, of West River, MD; and 5 grandchildren.

In honoring her wishes, her body has been cremated.
