Dennis James Hedrick, age 56, of Riverton, WV, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 following an extended illness at the home of his sister, Kathy.   He was born on August 28, 1968 in Manassas, VA, the son of the late Earl (Buzz) Hedrick and Helen Louise (Luzier) Hedrick of Petersburg, WV.  Dennis was previously married to the mother of his children, Candace (Smith) Vance.

Mr. Hedrick graduated from Circleville High School in 1986 and became a successful young entrepreneur.  He built, owned, and operated the River Mart in Riverton for close to 30 Years.  Dennis was always busy at work but found enjoyment and relaxation golfing, kayaking, and hunting.  He leaves a legacy of dedication to work and love for family behind to his children.

Dennis is survived by: a daughter, Nicole Karson (David) of Houston, TX; a son, Dylan Hedrick (Madison) of Riverton, WV; 3 sisters, Janet Cox (Bill) of Madison, WI; Kathy Hedrick of Petersburg, WV; Karen Fisher (Rick) of Petersburg, WV; a brother, Darin Hedrick (Tina) of Petersburg, WV; and a Grandson, Crew Karson.
