Dewayne Allen Warner , age 55, of Cherry Grove, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, VA. He was born on January 13, 1966, in Petersburg, WV, the son of the late John Allen "Johnnie" and Judy (Barkley) Warner, of Cherry Grove, WV. Dewayne was married to Lisa Ellen (Bogan) Warner, who survives in Franklin, WV.

Mr. Warner was a 1985 graduate of Circleville High School and was a Methodist by faith. He had worked as a Painter in Alexandria Virginia, where he painted apartments.

In addition to his mother, Dewayne is survived by: a daughter, Amelia Dawn Warner of Franklin, WV; a son, Jonathan Warner of Circleville, WV; a sister, Lori Pugh (Peppy) of Stafford, VA; and 4 grandchildren, Selena Warner, Rhyder Warner, Zach Tracy, and Alex Tracy.

Mr. Warner's family will receive friends on Friday, July 9, 2021, 12-2 PM, at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating. Interment will be in the Warner Family Cemetery on Hunting Ground, Cherry Grove, WV.
