Diana Sue Miller, age 59, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at her home. She was born on January 19, 1959, in Bartow, WV, the daughter of the late Harry Coolidge and Thelma (Townsend) Simmons. On June 30, 2001, Diana married Larry Gibbs Miller, who survives in Upper Tract.

Mrs. Miller was a 1977 graduate of Franklin High School and a member of St. Paul Independent Church. She had worked at Hanover Shoe, Woodline, and Thompson's Motel.

In addition to her husband, Diana is survived by: 4 sisters, Wilma Meadows and husband Dennis, Betty Sinnett and husband Jerry, Mary Jane Hedrick, and Helen Leathers and companion Wayne Henshaw, all of Franklin; a brother, Jesse James Simmons of Franklin; and a Mountain Feist friend, "Feisty". In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by: a daughter, Tammy Lynn; a brother, Harry Coolidge Simmons, Jr. (7-15-1993); and a sister, Marie Roop (11-6-16).

Mrs. Miller's family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jason Boggs officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul Independent Church Cemetery in Moyers, WV.
