Dolan Mallow, age 88, of Seneca Rocks, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at his home.  Mr. Mallow was born on August 7, 1936 in Onego, WV, the son of the late Omar Lee Mallow and Mable (Morral) Hedrick.  Dolan was married to his bride of 61 years, Patricia Mary Ellen (Kile) Mallow, who survives in Seneca Rocks.

Mr. Mallow attended school in the Seneca Rocks and Onego area and retired from the WV Department of Highways in Riverton after 30 years of service.  He was a former member of the NRA and in his early years, Dolan enjoyed hunting and working on vehicles.  As time went on, he found pleasure reclining in his chair and watching old westerns. He leaves behind a legacy of love for his family.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Dolan is survived by: 2 daughters, Wendy Riffle (James) of Inwood, WV; Christina Weatherholtz of Middletown, VA; 4 sons, Dolan Scott Mallow of Riverton, WV; Robert Wayne Mallow (Dawn) of Weirs Cove, VA; Joshua Samuel Mallow of Seneca Rocks, WV; Jeremy Dean Mallow (April Thompson) of Seneca Rocks, WV; 2 sisters, Sharon Bonner; Donna Zahn; 2 brothers, Larry and Robert Mallow; 16 Grandchildren; 20 Great-grandchildren; and 2 Foster grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by: 3 brothers, Ray and Ricky Mallow, Chester "Jake" Arbogast; 2 sisters, Ruby Kisamore and Grace Corbitt.

Dolan's family will receive friends on Friday, November 29, 2024 12-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Miller officiating.  Interment will be in the North Fork Mennonite Church Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the family, c/o the Basagic Funeral Home and Crematory, POB 400 Petersburg, WV 26847.
