Donna Kay Fleisher , age 67 of Franklin, WV, passed way on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born at Franklin (Thorn Creek), WV, on June 24, 1956, the daughter of Betty Jean (Warner) Hoover and the late Wilson "Bub" Hoover. On June 28, 1974, Donna married Emory Dean Fleisher, Jr., who survives in Franklin.

Donna was a 1974 graduate of Franklin High School and was employed at the Korner Shop in Franklin. She had retired from Hanover Shoe Company after working from 1974-1999. Donna had a love for life and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband and mother, Donna leaves behind to cherish her memory: a son, Matthew Fleisher (Amy) of Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister, Charlotte Thompson (Darrell) of Franklin; 2 brothers, Rick Hoover (Carol) and Larry Hoover (Missy) all of Franklin, WV; 2 granddaughters, Chase and Haley; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Donna's family will receive friends on Saturday, December 9, 2023, 11 AM until 1 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Mike Loudermilk officiating.
