Dorman Lee Vandevander, age 68, of Brandywine, WV, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Sentara RMH as a short battle with Cancer. He was born on February 26, 1953, in Harrisonburg, VA, the son of the late Harry Thomas and Thelma Mae (Nesselrodt) Vandevander. Dorman was married to Judith Hartman, who survives in Brandywine, WV.

Mr. Vandevander attended Franklin High School and was a member of Pleasant Grove Mennonite Church. He had a passion for cats, nature, putting models together, and handcrafting birdhouses. Dorman had worked for Ethan Allen, OCEM, and Pilgrim's Pride.
