Dorothy Amelia Mohler , age 90, of Franklin, WV, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Pendleton Manor in Franklin, WV. She was born on April 12, 1934, in Yale, MI, the daughter of the late David and Katherine (Mueller) Rusch. On December 1, 1956, Dorothy married James Lee "Jim" Mohler, who preceded her in death on October 15, 2015.

Dorothy was a 1951 graduate of Yale High School and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family.

Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory: 3 daughters, Jamey Wimer (Eddie) of Franklin, WV, Judy Schuck of Washington Township, NJ, Sally Shay (Justin) of Rochester, MA; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by: 6 sisters, Pauline Hall, Marie Lendon, Ruth Rusch, Lydia Leslie, Emma Burton, Emily Edgerton; and 2 brothers, David and John Rusch.

Dorothy's family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, 1-2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Paul Schafer and Angela Lambert officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Franklin, WV.
