Obituary

Dottie Lou Warner, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 23, 2022. She was born on August, 2, 1944, the daughter of the late Elmer Benjamin and Myrtle M. (Sponaugle) Phares. On November 7, 1964, Dottie married Jerry Martin Warner, who survives in Franklin.

Mrs. Warner was a graduate of Circleville High School and a member of Living Faith Church. Dottie spent her life diligently working alongside her husband to build their many businesses and farm. She found joy in serving others, was active in numerous civic organizations, and most recently belonged to the West Virginia Farm Bureau where she served on the Leadership Committee. Dottie's greatest pleasure was spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids and watching them exhibit their agricultural projects at local and state fairs, and took great pride in all their successes. She will be remembered for the love she shared with her family and all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, Dottie leaves behind to cherish her memories: a daughter, Melissa "Missy" Hoover (Larry) of Franklin, WV; a son, Jeffrey Warner (Pam) of Franklin, WV; a sister, Mary June Bennett of Circleville, WV; a brother, Raymond "Eddie" Phares (Rose) of Circleville, WV; 6 grandchildren, Ciara Lambert (Travis); Chris Warner (Alexis); Meghan Hedrick (Tyler); Jessica, Marissa, and Isabella Hoover; 7 great-grandchildren, Landyn Warner; Reagyn Atkins; Garrett and Ryker Lambert; Hallie, Harper, and Tucker Hedrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Richard Phares; James Phares; and a sister, Ina Lee Hedrick.
