Earl Denver Kimble, age 95, of Upper Tract, WV, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at his residence, under the care of Hospice. He was born on December 26, 1925, in Smoke Hole, WV, the son of the late Essie Mae (Kimble) Full and Will Self. He was raised by his grandmother, Mary F. Kimble, who preceded him in death. On April 19, 1953, Earl married his wife of 67 years, Catherine O. (Foor) Kimble, who survives in Upper Tract.

Mr. Kimble attended Smoke Hole School and retired after 42 years as and Explosives Expert from WV DOH. He had also worked for Carl Smith Pipeline. Earl had a passion for spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, Earl is survived by: 3 daughters, Elizabeth R. Mongold (Bobby) of Petersburg, WV, Barbara C. Mitchell of Stephens City, VA, Linda M. Kimble (Joseph Fawley) of Grafton, WV; 5 sons, Earl J, Kimble (Kathy) of Franklin, WV, Clinton R. Kimble (Judy) of Upper Tract, WV, Jerry L, Kimble (Janice) of Franklin, WV, Phillip E. Kimble (Kristy Barr) of Fisher, WV, Johnny A. Kimble (Cherie) of Upper Tract, WV; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; a half sister, Nancy L. Full of Upper Tract, WV; and a half brother, Isaac Ralph Full of Upper Tract, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 2 sons, Vernon and Timmy Kimble; a grandson, David Kimble; and 4 half brothers, Roger Self, Archie Self, Charlie Full, and Loy Full.

Mr. Kimble's family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastors Allen and Barbara Sisson officiating. Interment will be in Earl D.
