Freddie Dean Mallow, age 76, of Cabins, WV passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.  Freddie was born on September 12, 1948 in Cabins, WV, the son of the late Delmer Virgil "Lum" and Laura Rebecca (Reed) Mallow.

Mr. Mallow graduated from Petersburg High School and went to the Riverside Church.  Freddie served our country in the United States Army and was a lifelong carpenter who also had a talent for doing auto body repair.

Freddie is survived by: a son, Michael Mallow (Brooklyn) of Cabins, WV; a brother, Donald "Sunny" (Sandra) Mallow of Woodbridge, VA; 7 Grandchildren, Blake and Madison Juker; Michaela Mallow; Kerigan Bergdall; Micah Mallow; Samantha and Jessica Coppe.    He was preceded in death by: a daughter, Michelle Mallow; 3 brothers, Ralph, Bobby, and Virgil Mallow; 3 sisters, Dorothy Vance; Ruth Matthews; and infant, Daily Mallow.

Mr. Mallow's family will receive friends on Monday, April 7, 2025 12-2 PM, at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tommy George officiating.   Interment will be in the South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens, Petersburg, WV.
