George Eric Adkins , age 64, of Cherry Grove, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the home of his brother Rick, in Sugar Grove, WV. He was born on November 14, 1961, in Elkins, WV, the son of the late Raymond Adkins and Clara Leona White. George was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Virginia Ruth (Ray) Adkins on September 17, 2020.

George attended Circleville Schools and had worked as a sawyer. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and ginsenging. George had a huge heart and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

George leaves behind to cherish his memory: 3 daughters, LaDonna Williams (David) of Broadway, VA, Becki Minnick (Mark) of McGaheysville, VA, Cindy Turner of Capon Bridge, WV; 3 sisters, Barbara Jean Nordzy (Steve) of Upper Tract, WV, Anita Harris of Broadway, VA, Twila Jane Adkins of Cherry Grove, WV; 2 brothers, Rick Adkins (Shannon) of Sugar Grove, WV, Mark Adkins of Cherry Grove, WV; 5 grandchildren, Chasity Sisler, Nathan Turner, Mikey Turner (Bambi), Faith Williams-Terry (Jacob), Caleb Williams; and 7 great-grandchildren, Colten, Kaden, Brinley, Kenzie, Brixton, Cooper and Carter.

In honoring George's wishes, his body has been cremated and a graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Frost, WV. Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com.
