George Allen Bradshaw, age 64, of Petersburg, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at his home.  He was born on February 9, 1958, in Huntington, WV the son of the late Harrison Lee Bradshaw, Jr and Lois (Chaney) Bradshaw.  On November 12, 1982, George married Patricia Ann (Cunningham) Bradshaw, who preceded him in death on August 8, 2020.

Mr. Bradshaw graduated from Petersburg High School in 1976 and later attended Marshall University.  As a young man, George worked for the WV Forestry Service. He served locally as an EMT and Paramedic, and as an orderly at Grant Memorial Hospital. George finished his working career at the Fertig Cabinet Company in Moorefield, WV where he was employed for over 20 years. He was a little league baseball and football coach, and had coached the freshman football team at Petersburg High School. George enjoyed hunting and fishing but his greatest love was for his family where his grandchildren had a special place in his heart.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Bradshaw leaves behind to cherish his memories: a daughter, Charity Dawn Greenwalt (Patrick) of Petersburg, WV; a son, Derek Allen Bradshaw (Erika) of Elk Garden, WV; 2 sisters, Dreama Karnes-Bynane (David) of Inwood, WV, Angela K. Bradshaw of Pittsburgh, PA; 3 brothers, Eugene Bradshaw (Debbie) of Wisconsin, Wendell Bradshaw (Ellen) of Fredericksburg, VA, Timothy Bradshaw of Wisconsin;  5 grandchildren, Jadyn Kimble, Bryceson Kimble, Derek Bradshaw Jr., Landon Bradshaw, and Dashka Greenwalt.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harrison "Lee" Bradshaw III.

Mr. Bradshaw's family will receive friends on Thursday, March 31, 2022, 12– 2 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Lynn Durbin officiating.  Interment will be at the South Branch Valley Memorial Gardens in Petersburg, WV.  Memories and words of comfort may be left at www.basagic.com
