George Walter "Tince" Conley, Jr. , age 79, of Brandywine, WV, passed away at his home. He was born on June 6, 1941, in Man, WV, the son of the late Hazel (Elkins) and George W. Conley, Sr.

Mr. Conley was a 1959 graduate of Oceana High School and was a member of the First Church of God. He had worked as a civilian contractor for US Government Aviation.

Mr. Conley is survived by: a daughter, Kelly McDonald of Scottsdale, AZ; a brother, William "Bill" Conley of Brandywine, WV; 3 granddaughters, Macon Ratliff of Glendale, AZ, Hannah Nosco of Hanover, MD, Molly McDonald of St. Louis, MO; nephews, Greg Paitsel, Michael Paitsel, William "Bill" Conley, Jr., Eric Conley, Derek; nieces, Rhonda Goins, Kim Conley Phillips (Bruce), Sabrina Conley, Pam Fowler, and Tamera Conley; and great nieces and nephews. In additon to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a son, "Bucky"; a brother, Conrad Conley; and a sister, Sally Paitsel.

Mr. Conley's family will receive friends on Friday, January 8, 2021, 2-4 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin, WV. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be on Monday, January 11, 2021 in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Memorials may be made to any Pendleton County Rescue Squad or Fire Company.
